He moved to the united states in 2002 and began to tour regularly. In 2004, he released his first album, and in 2006 his second. In 2007, he released his third album and was in the process of wrapping up his fourth when he died from a heart attack at his home in jacksonville, florida on july 24th of that year. Sal vulcano legacy will continue on his fifth album which will be released in the spring of 2022.
